Site Policies
1) Absolutely NO RETURNS on sale items
2) There is a $20 minimum purchase due to paypal and credit card fees...sorry but they have gone through the roof!
3) We are now taking only PayPal for payments. You can STILL pay with your credit card via the PayPal site and you DO NOT need a PayPal account to do this. There will only be one payment source button when you are checking out which will take you to the payment page where you can either log in to your PayPal account or click the link at the bottom of the page to pay via Credit Card.
4) Our shopping cart works on a first come first served basis, meaning that the first person to checkout and complete the payment process will get those items. So, if you have something in your cart, but another person does also, the first person who goes through the payment process is guaranteed those items. Sorry, this is just the way the cart software is built. I wish it would notify you when you were checking out that one of the items you had added was no longer available.
5) I am only going to mention this because for some reason it seems to happen quite often. If an item is listed in inventory with a qty. of 3 available, you can not change the qty. in the cart to more than that as it will in turn zero out your entire total for that line and you will not receive any (even the 3 you wanted) because they will not charge out.
Shipping & Handling Policy:
Domestic Locations (US/Hawaii/PR): There is a $1.75 charge for the first item and $.25 for each thereafter (standard USPS First Class mail), with a MAX charge of $5.00.
Canada: There is a $16.00 charge (which includes insurance) for all packages being sent to any Canada location. There is no exceptions to this rule. I will not send any international package out without insurance.
International: There is a $18.00 charge (which includes insurance) for all packages being sent to any international location. There is no exceptions to this rule. I will not send any international package out without insurance.
Please Note: Effective March 2011, we are currently shipping every Monday. Orders placed Sunday evening through the following Sunday will ship the next Monday. Please email me if there is an overwhelming need to have an item shipped sooner. I am still working a day job but hope to be selling beads full time one of these days.
Return / Refund Policy:
If for any reason you decide not to keep one of your items, you must email us and let us know that you would like to exchange or return your items for a refund within 10 days of receipt of the merchandise. The item(s) must be unused, in new shape and be sent back in protective packaging to our store location. Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.
If there are items missing from your package, you must notify us within 5 days (I know 5 days seems short, but it makes for much better record keeping and inventory control on our part if we know right away) of receipt of your package. We will either issue a refund (pro-rated for quantity shortage) or send the items that was missing if it is still in stock. We are only human and we try to avoid any errors in pulling your order, but from time to time we may miss something. Please just let us know by sending an email and we will respond back to let you know to expect a refund or another package.

The Bead Obsession is dedicated to the privacy of our customers. We respect your privacy and therefore, we do not sell, share, or distribute your personal information with any third parties.
Any customer contact information collected is to be used, but not solely limited to, monitoring site traffic or personalize the site, contacting customers via email or direct mail, and promotional events.

We will occasionally send you information on products, services, and upcoming sales. To receive these offers and updates you can join our mailing list. Joining the mailing list is completely voluntary and you may unsubscribe at any time.
